RDA

We are a pediatric & orthodontic dental practice in San Diego and are looking to add a registered dental assistant (RDA) who is compassionate, engaging and friendly with both the children/parents and our staff. Good communication/verbal and customer service skills are a must.

Position: 5 days a week (and 1 half-day Saturday a month)

COMPENSATION: Hourly (salary based on experience, qualifications and value you add to practice, negotiable)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Perform prophy, sealants and radiographs
Chairside assisting for dental treatment
Maintenance
Ordering
Setting up and breaking down chairs
Sterilization
Infection control protocol

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

REQUIREMENTS:
Current coronal polishing certificate (for RDA)
Current x-ray certificate

Current sealant certificate
Current BLS/CPR certificate

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Current (or Pending) California RDA Certificate
1 year experience as a dental assistant
Knowledge of Dentrix Practice Management software
Orthodontic experience
