Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. We are a Small, family owned dental practice located in Ramona, CA. Looking at 2 hygiene days with those days being fliexible between Tuesday, Wednesay or Thursday.  Small office that sees one adult patient or two children per hour.  The office is open from 8-5 each day with a lunch break from 1-2.  Job will begin late May to early June. 

Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care

- Take digital X-Rays (Nomad X-Ray unit)

- Administer local anesthetic and apply cavity-preventive agents such as fluorides and sealants

- Document patient care and treatment plans in electronic health records

Qualifications:

- Certified Dental Hygienist with a valid license in California

- Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control protocols

- Knowledge of medical terminology, CAD/CAM systems, and dental assisting procedures

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices

- Ability to take vital signs, conduct patient assessments, and assist in dental office procedures
