We are a family practice offering preventative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kaady's approach goes beyond typical dental care, focusing on overall oral, TMJ, sleep and airway health to achieve the perfect smile. Our office is in the heart of beautiful, historic St. John's.

We are excited to add an additional Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to our wonderful team. The ideal candidate is an outgoing, friendly, and motivated team player eager to join our fabulous group.

Job Details:

• Position: Full-Time Dental Hygienist
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 4 PM, with occasional Fridays
• Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, scaling, and polishing.
• Acquire dental x-rays.
• Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment.

Requirements:

• Valid state dental hygiene license
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices.
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft Dental Software is a plus.
