Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Middletown, NJ

OverviewHamilton Dental Associates is seeking dedicated and skilled Dental Assistants to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our dental team in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the clinic. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist dentists during various procedures
Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance the efficiency of dental procedures.
Take and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant medical documentation.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist with digital impressions as needed.
Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene practices.
Manage patient records using Dentrix.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Proficiency in using 3D scanners a plus but not required.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
NJ Dental X-Ray License Preferred.
RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) a plus but not required.
Bilingual a plus
