We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Bilingual Dental Front Receptionist. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to grow their existing experience in patient scheduling, front office administration, and dental assisting experience is a plus!
Responsibilities:
Greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Manage patient check-in/check-out processes, including collecting paperwork and payments.
Verify patient insurance, process claims, and manage insurance inquiries.
Process patient payments, manage accounts receivable, and handle billing inquiries.
Discuss treatment costs, present payment options, and set up payment plans.
Maintain a clean and organized front office, manage supplies, and ensure efficient workflow.
Organize and maintain patient files (physical and electronic), ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers.
Assist patients with treatment planning, scheduling follow-up appointments, and coordinating referrals.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment procedures, and post-operative care.
Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Assist with marketing initiatives and manage social media presence (as needed).
Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA, dental board).
Answer phones, schedule appointments, answer questions, and manage inquiries.
Update patient information, maintain electronic health records (EHR), and ensure accuracy.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information about procedures, billing, and office policies.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in front office support and dental assisting preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Computer proficiency, including experience with Open Dental software.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
