Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice . The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient comfort and satisfaction.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Perform periodontal assessments and charting, including documentation review.
Implement infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice standards.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices, including aseptic techniques.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Knowledge of general dentistry principles and practices.
Experience in pediatrics is a plus but not required.
Strong understanding of anatomy related to oral health.
Proficient in infection control practices and HIPAA compliance.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
