Job Description
We are a PPO/FFS private dental office. Patient care, and high quality service come first!
Key Responsibilities:
Help prepare patients for dental treatments.
Hand instruments to the dentist and provide other assistance during procedures.
Keep patients comfortable and calm during treatment.
Take dental X-rays, Panoramic X-ray and CBCT.
Make dental impressions or molds for crowns, bridges, and dentures.
Experience with digital intraoral scanner is a plus.
Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean dental environment.
Provide post-operative care instructions to patients.
Schedule patient appointments.
Experience with Open Dental is a plus.
Update and maintain patient records.
Clean and sterilize dental equipment and instruments.
Ensure that dental equipment is in good working order.
Teach patients about proper dental hygiene practices and care.
Assist with the application of fluoride treatments and sealants.
Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of Dental Procedures: Familiarity with various dental treatments and techniques. Experience with Oral Surgery and Endodontics procedures is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in taking X-rays, preparing materials, and documenting patient records.
Communication Skills: The ability to interact with patients, dentists, and the dental team effectively.
Organization & Time Management: Managing multiple tasks and staying on schedule.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Schedule:
4 hour shift
Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
