The DA works on behalf of the patient and the dentist, helping to assure a high level of professional excellence in oral health care delivery.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures.
Greet and prepare patients for treatment with a high level of enthusiasm.
Educate patients on general oral health care as directed by the doctor.
Presenting treatment to patients based on doctor recommendations and post operative instructions.
Complete x-rays and scans as requested in referrals in an efficient and timely manner
Record patient charting and all the doctorâs notes in the digital patient chart as directed with accuracy.
Maintain inventory and supplies as needed.
Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, and Innovative Endodonticsâ policies and practices)
Participate in achieving patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service.
Assist with other duties as directed in the attached Permitted Duties.
Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient.
Provide a calm, warm presence for those who might be anxious, reinforcing the value of treatment provided and reassuring patients that they are in the right place.
Coordinate with the front office team to ensure seamless delivery of the patient experience.
Minimum Requirements:
· Current CPR certification.
· Radiation Safety Certificate (X-ray license)
· Infection Control Certificate (within 120 days of employment)
· Good communication skills.
· Ability to perform detailed work according to established formats and protocols.
Optional Requirements:
* At least two years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
* Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
* We are willing to train the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
