Job SummaryWe are looking for a passionate dental assistant to join our team! Dental assistant must be experienced, hard working and responsible. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients and assisting the dentist during procedures. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for patients.
Schedule:
Monday 8:30am-5:00pm
Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm
Saturday 8:30am-3:00pm
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, update treatment plans and mark treatment completed using Dentrix software.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.
Maintain a clean, sterile and cheerful environment where our patients feel comfortable.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Submit patients prescriptions through e-prescribe.
Review lab cases and schedule patients for insert.
Ensure that all consent forms are signed and scanned.

Skills

Proficiency in assisting with general dentistry procedures.
Experience with dental receptionist tasks is a plus.
Strong understanding of dental assisting protocols and best practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
