General Dentist - VTA Dental Lab - Austin, TX

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring the highest standards of patient comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues while promoting good oral health practices among patients.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Administer anesthesia and perform dental extractions as needed.
Utilize medical imaging technology to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry environment to enhance patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Experience

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Experience with medical records management and familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic is preferred.
Proficiency in various dental techniques including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric care is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
