Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
– Full-Time Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our busy, multi-doctor, multi-hygienist practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in prophylaxis, periodontal treatment with laser therapy, digital X-rays, and comprehensive patient care. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to providing exceptional dental care.
Responsibilities:

Perform dental prophylaxis (routine cleanings) for patients with healthy periodontium and scaling and root planing for periodontal patients.
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, checking for cavities, periodontal disease, and other oral health concerns.
Take digital X-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Administer periodontal laser therapy as part of periodontal disease treatment (if certified).
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive measures as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the dental software system (Eaglesoft).
Work efficiently in a high-volume practice alongside multiple dentists and hygienists.
Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Illinois.
Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.
Experience with prophylaxis, periodontal laser therapy (preferred based on practice needs).
Proficiency in digital X-ray technology and dental software.
Strong communication skills and ability to provide a positive patient experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Busy multi-doctor, multi-hygienist practice. Full-time position, Monday through Friday (no weekends).
