Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant with an EFDA/EDDA certification to join our team. The successful candidate will assist our dental professionals in providing high-quality oral healthcare to our patients. Qualifications:
EFDA/EDDA certification required
High school diploma or equivalent
X-ray certification preferred
Previous experience working in a dental office
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during examinations and treatments
Take and develop dental x-rays
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients
Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records
Assist with front office tasks such as billing and insurance processing
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the dental office
