OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Expanded function Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, perfrom restorations of cavity preparations and making temporary crowns and bridges etc.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties when necessary.

ExperienceCandidates should possess prior experience in Expanded Function dental assisting or related fields.
Familiarity with tools such as, making temporary crowns, Filling restorations, X-Ray machines, 3D scanners etc.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
