Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Prepare patients for treatments by explaining procedures and providing comfort
Record and update patient dental records accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix Ascend for managing patient information and records.
Support front office duties as needed, including acting as a dental receptionist.

Qualifications

Proficient in chairside assisting and knowledgeable in dental terminology and anatomy
Must have computer skills to be able to work with dental softwares

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 22 per week
Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
