We are searching for an amazing Pediatric and Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our amazing office. We're searching for someone who loves working with kids and provides a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for our patients. We're looking for someone who is upbeat, motivated, communicates well, and is always looking to help parents and patients have an exceptional time at the office. Hours would be Monday- Thurday 8-5/5:30pm and optional Fridays 8-12pm.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during pediatric and orthodontic procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.
Utilize dental terminology and anatomy knowledge to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Operate 3D scanners and manage X-Ray imaging while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using EMR systems like Dentrix and Eaglesoft.
Monitor vital signs and assist in patient management, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their visit.

Qualifications

Proven experience in chairside assisting and dental terminology
Proficiency with 3D scanners and EMR systems, including Eaglesoft and Dentrix
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and general dentistry practices
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and anatomy
Ability to perform X-rays and manage medical documentation
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and vital signs monitoring

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
