Registered Dental Hygienist - Cosmetic Dentistry of San Antonio - Houston, TX

We are searching for a part-time hygienist to join our elite office. We have over 900 reviews on Google and have a 5-star rating. We put patient care above all else. We change people's lives by transforming their smiles. The majority of what we do is cosmetic dentistry.

$42 - 46 hour Responsibilities:

Conduct initial screenings for patients to understand their oral health history
Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated
Assist dentists with determining the best treatment plan for all kinds of dental diseases
Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment
Create dental impressions of patients’ teeth so veneers, mouthguards, etc. can be made correctly
Take x-ray images of the patients’ teeth to help dentists identify any oral health issues like cavities
Keep detailed records of each patient’s visit and update their health history

Must feel comfortable educating patients on needed treatment and helping them move forward
Qualifications:

Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer dental exams and procedures
Valid CPR certification
Superb customer service and communication skills
Associate’s degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued
