Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and vital signs checks.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures while adhering to best practices.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize dental office software such as Dentrix for patient management and record-keeping.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with dental office systems.
Experience with Dentrix is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is advantageous but not required.
