OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and infection control practices, along with the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during surgical procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Maintain a sterile field and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Take and record vital signs of patients before, during, and after procedures.
Document medical information accurately in patient records.
Operate and maintain dental equipment, including 3D scanners.
Provide support in various dental specialties such as Endodontics.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.

Skills

Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with dental clinic systems.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices within a clinical setting.
Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
Ability to accurately take and document vital signs.
Competence in medical documentation processes.
Familiarity with Endodontics procedures is advantageous.
Experience using 3D scanners and DSN software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
