Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Arlington, WA

Overview:We are currently seeking an amazing Dental Hygienist or two to join our team with possibility of 1 accelerated RDH or 2 single column RDH's . We are a busy and growing practice with a fun, talented and passionate team. The ideal candidate(s) will have experience in providing preventive dental care and educating patients on oral hygiene. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for performing dental therapy, taking radiographs, and providing patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques including risk assessment based care. In addition, the Dental Hygienist(s) will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of patient visits and ensuring that all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.
Responsibilities:
Provide preventive dental care, including cleaning and polishing teeth, taking x-rays, and providing fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including CAMBRA.
Perform oral health screenings and provide patient education.
Assist dentists in providing treatment and procedures.
Maintain patient records and prepare charts for dental visits.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of dentistry.
Accelerated hygiene with dedicated assistant to help with sterilization, turning rooms over, taking X-rays, and assisting with perio charting.
Single Column hygiene would be un-assisted, responsible for sterilization of own instruments, turning over own rooms, taking own xrays.
Skills:
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role (recent graduates)
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession.
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment.
Outstanding communication skills.
A patient and friendly personality.
Attention to detail.
Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job with accelerated hygiene.
Requirements:
Valid Washington State Registered Dental Hygienist license.
Previous hygiene experience preferred but not required: recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships in a team-focused environment.
Staying current on continuing education requirements.

Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm

Pay: $65.00 - $95.00 per hour
