Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control procedures, and the ability to work effectively with both patients and the dental team.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
Assist in the development of patient treatment plans based on individual needs.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care in Dentrix.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Perform medical imaging procedures as required, including X-rays.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe practice environment.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Work effectively with pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience.
Requirements
Valid dental hygiene license in accordance with state regulations.
Proficiency in Dentrix software is preferred.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and infection control practices.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Experience in assisting during dental procedures is a plus.
Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records management.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
Previous experience working with pediatric patients is desirable.

Pay: $44.27 - $46.09 per hour
