Our valued dental hygienist is heading back to school to pursue their dream of becoming a dentist, and while we're sad to see them go, we're excited to welcome a new hygienist to our team.
We are seeking a full-time hygienist with strong interpersonal skills to join our growing dental practice. Experience is preferred and a current dental hygienist license is required. Our modern, digital practice provides restorative care, prosthodontics, endodontics, extractions, clear aligner therapy, and dental implants. North Dakota Dental Hygiene license is required. Our clinic is open from 8am-5pm Monday-Thursday and occasional Friday mornings.
Job Responsibilities

Offer quality care with a positive attitude
Patient screening procedures, such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting
Complete Periodontal Charting
Removing calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth
Applying preventive materials to the teeth sealants and fluorides
Patient education of appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling
Obtaining impressions of patients' teeth for study models
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient treatment plans and progress accurately in electronic health records.
Assist in the management of infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain knowledge of current dental practices, terminology, and procedures.
Manage patient records and appointment scheduling within the dental office systems.

Must be able to tolerate long-winded conversations between Dr. Schmaltz and patients
Must be a good note-taker, novelists are welcome
Must be willing to handle OCD tendencies of dentists
Strong abs are encouraged to handle continuous laughter
Develop muscles in our up-and-coming workout facility

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
