Key Responsibilities:

Perform dental hygiene services including cleanings, x-rays, and fluoride treatments
Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and individualized dental care
Assist the dentist chairside when needed, ensuring patient comfort
Maintain and update accurate patient records and medical histories
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile clinical environment
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care

Requirements:

Valid Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist
Skilled in dental assisting techniques, X-rays, and CAD software
Proficient with SoftDental, or similar dental software
Strong knowledge of HIPAA, infection control, and aseptic techniques
Understanding of medical terminology, dental anatomy, and imaging tools
