Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Minot, ND

Job OverviewAs our well established dental practice continues to grow, we are looking to bring on another experienced dental assistant. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, self-motivated, works well with a team and individually, someone who is friendly and is detailed oriented.
Candidate must have 2 years of dental experience to apply to this position. We would like candidate to be comfortable with an itero scanner, Invisalign and Open Dental software. The position is Tuesday - Thursday 8am-5pm, with an hour lunch and Friday 7am-3pm.
Requirement of the position:
Participation in morning huddle
Opening Duties â rooms ready, lab equipment turned on
Punctual to work & patient appt. times
Pt appointment - preparedness, set up thoroughly, ready to go
X-Rays â take what is needed, clear images & photos
Patient interaction â cheerful, reassuring, educating, chief complaint, clear on appt. details.
Chairside abilities â passing instruments, suction, drying/isolating, anticipating Drâs needs
Taking accurate impressions, making temp crowns/bridges
Make sure appts are posted correctly â treatment updated- next appt. is clear and conveyed
Thorough hand offs to the front desk
Infection Control
Instrument handling - correctly and safely
Lab Duties
Be able to pour models if/when needed
Fabrication of oral appliance â which include working with the 3D printer
TEAM WORK! Charting, helping others, seating patients
Patient Notes
Warm, welcoming attitude towards patients
Positive relationship with team and Doctors
Be able to help with supply order if/when needed. Or putting products on a list for ordering. Unpackaged and putt supplies away as we receive them.
Take part in continuing education & seminars as needed
Maintain lab/room equipment â clean and maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Ability to manage medical documentation accurately.
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
