Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and place orders as necessary.
Utilize 3D scanners for impressions and assist with prosthodontics and endodontics procedures.
Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Support four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Weekend hours are required for this position.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is required, with experience in a dental clinic setting.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and endodontics procedures is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with patients and team members.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is mandatory.
