The Registered Dental Hygienist will be responsible for a variety of tasks in our dental office such as cleaning teeth and examining oral areas for signs of oral disease. The position also educates patients on oral hygiene, takes x-rays if needed, and applies fluoride or sealants.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
- Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis
- Cleans calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums using dental instruments.
- Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
- Sterilize and clean instruments
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: Depends on Experience
