Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a mature, dependable, hardworking, competent, entry level registered dental assistant/sterilization technician with a positive attitude. The right person will have an excellent work ethic, dependability, communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast environment. The ideal person must enjoy working in a positive team environment and be willing to work for a very busy general dental practice full time Monday through Thursday and possibly every other Friday (7:45am to 5:30pm with a one hour lunch).  This is an entry level position allowing room for growth.

Responsibilities

• Must have 2 years of experience as a sterilization technician.

Current Registered Dental Assistant License

• Current CPR license.

Nitrous oxide certification.

Hands on chair side dental assistant experience a plus.

Outgoing team member, motivated, and must be punctual and professional.

Communicates well with patients.

Assisting the Doctor during a variety of treatment procedures including major services

such as impressing for crowns, bridges, and occlusal guards.

The ability to complete specific treatment processes and the willingness to learn.

Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.

Take digital radiographs, intra-oral pictures, and digital scanner.

Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments, rooms and equipment.

Good computer skills and open dental software knowledge a plus.
