Lead Dental Assistant needed in our dental office

Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Lead Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

This job includes a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties. Dental assistant must work effectively with co-workers, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, timetables and issues. 

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an experianced lead dental assistant to work in our private practice that focuses heavily on dental implants, general dentitry and advanced restorative treatment. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to start. Working towards adding on Thursday.  Hours and pay will be discussed at interview. 

Responsibilities

 - Being a team player

 -Assist our doctors during variety of treatment procedures

• Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment
• Take digital x-rays as needed before, during or after treatment, IO photos 
• Charting treatment in Dentrix 
• Manage infection control-prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Monitor the patient's well-being during the procedure 
• Maintain a supply inventory and order supplies as needed 
• Fabrication of temporaries 
• Laboratory work 
• Assist Hygiene as needed 
• Work with office manager to assure all back office duties are being done affiently
