Who We're Looking For

Responsibilities and Duties

prepares and breakdowns treatment room- assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
taking digital dental radiographs
asking about patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse
serving as infection control office, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterliziing instruments and equipment
welcoming and helping patient's feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procdedures, such as the placement of a restorations- teaching patients appropiate oral hygiene care
taking impressions of patient's teeth for study casts
performing office management tasks that often require the use of a computer
communicating with patient's and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies
helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, dental implants and oral surgery
