Lead Dental Assistant Needed for Growing Private Practice
We are a fantastic dental office that seeks to provide the highest level of dentistry to each and every one of our patients. We know that being a great office is one that is exceptional due to the team that stands with us. We work hard, play hard and make patients smile each and every day. We are looking for an exceptional Lead Dental Assistant to join our team!
We need a Dental Assistant that can lead our busy practice, hit production goals, guide our back office team, work seamlessly in tandem with the dentist, and keep moral high. We need some one who can lead/train, and absolutely knows how to run an effective and efficient back office. We are looking for a leader who can encourage the team to be their best in a positive and motivational way.
Also, we do a lot of specialty dentistry to a fantastic community of patients. We need a Dental Assistant who can create a read carpet experience for our patients and loves to grow dental offices.
Our ideal Lead Dental Assistant would:
- Treat our patients like family.
- Run the back office smoothly and efficiently
- Be familiar with Eaglesoft or a quick learner
- Obtain digital radiographs, 3d scans, intra-oral photos, patients photo series, and orthodontic pictures
- Assist the doctor with composite fillings, sealants, crowns and veneers, smile makeovers, root canals, implants, and emergencies, oral conscious sedation and nitrous administration.
- Be proficient in obtaining alginate impressions, polyvinyl impressions, and bite registrations
- Be able to preform orthodontic impressions and try in appointments
- Be proficient in the fabrication of temporaries, pack cord, retainers, and pouring stone models
- Maintain a sterile and clean environment
- Keep ordering organized and always have the supplies ready for upcoming patients
- Keep lab cases organized, tracked through Eaglesoft and on time for scheduled delivery dates
- Prepare detailed notes which include vitals, medical history updates, classification of diagnosis, and details on the patient
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions and education
- Goes above and beyond to help the patient feel comfortable
- Communicate effectively, clearly, and positively
- Educates patients and answer questions related to treatment
- Keep an eye on office goals and finds opportunities to reach the daily goal
- Efficient and timely in their tasks
- Have a team mentality and looks for opportunities to help team members fulfill their goals and for everyone to stay on schedule
- Have fun every day
- Understand conflict resolution and are able to address difficulties with others
- Genuinely love talking and getting to know people and want to help them in anyway you can
- Maintain professionalism and respect with team members at all times
- Be able to demonstrate/learn administrative tasks when needed i.e. answering phones, making re-care phone calls ect...
- Have an effective and clear hand off of the patient with the front desk.
