Job Description

Hello! We are an established one Doctor private general dentistry practice (no HMO/Dentical) with state-of-the-art technology. We have a beautiful office with a small team that enjoys working with each other. It's a wonderful working atmosphere, the office is very organized and we all get along fabulously! We are located near DeAnza Blvd and Hwy 85.

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, dependable and responsible RDH to add to our team. Our ideal team member is reliable, career-oriented, long term committed, has a positive attitude with a warm personality that loves helping patients, has a gentle hand and easily develops rapport with their patients. (8) patients a day, one hour appointments and no double booking. No nights and No weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Assess patients oral health and report findings to the dentist.
*All aspects of hygiene including scaling and root planing.
*Placement of sealants and fluroride.
*Administration of local anesthesia, soft tissue curretage, and nitrous oxide.
*Identify conditions like caries, gingivitis or periodontitis.
*Taking of digital x-rays (Dexis).
*Cleaning/prepping operatories and sterilizing instruments.
*Follows all HIPPA and OSHA guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Valid state dental hygiene license.
*Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
*Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
*Ability to work well in a team environment.

Ideally, this position is three days a week. Days are negotiable. Our hours are Monday thru Thursday 7:45am to 5pm. 8 patients daily. We are closed Friday, Saturday and Sundays.

Compensation, bonuses and benefits are based on experience. $65-75hr.

Our office follows all CDC guidelines and we are equipped with HEPA air purifiers throughout the office, plexiglass guards at the front desk and we follow all safety measures to keep our patients and team safe.
