Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including preparing the necessary tools and ensuring patient comfort.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, adhering to specific protocols and regulations to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as prescribed by the dentist, ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders and verifying receipt to ensure the clinic is well-stocked and operational.
• Lead and train junior dental assistants, providing guidance on clinical procedures, patient management, and administrative tasks to ensure high-quality care.
• Coordinate patient scheduling to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Implement and monitor compliance with current dental office policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards, to ensure the practice operates within legal and ethical boundaries.
