Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team at Listiyo Family Dental. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing top-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after dental treatments.
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage patient flow.
• Perform office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
• Certification by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) is preferred.
• State licensure or certification as required.
• CPR and first-aid certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
