Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care while assisting the dental team in various procedures and administrative tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse, as needed.
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to prevent infection.
Provide support with medical coding for insurance claims as required.
Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

ExperienceCandidates should possess experience or familiarity with the following areas:

General dentistry practices and procedures.
Assisting in various dental treatments, including but not limited to prosthodontics.
Proficiency in using dental software systems like Epic and Dentrix.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
Experience in a dental receptionist role is a plus.
