Dental Hygienist - Noble Dental - Duluth, MN

A busy West Duluth Dental office is looking for a Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. Duties include conducting initial patient health screenings, performing dental hygiene cleanings for children and adults, and advising patients on oral health and preventative care. As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages.
Responsibilities

Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis and periodontitis
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Take X-rays or dental impressions
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

Preference will be given to those with past dental experience, but it is not required. New graduates will receive the benefit of starting with a custom-made schedule with increased appointment times and existing patients to aide in the transition to private office work.
Will offer a flexible schedule of your choice, either part-time or full-time hours. Must be licensed to practice in the state of Minnesota. Also offering the opportunity to work with a commission style pay structure. This allows any hard working hygienist who can complete appointments in under 60min to be paid per patient instead of per hour.
