Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting our dental professionals in various procedures. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform basic dental procedures such as taking X-rays, applying topical anesthetics, and assisting with medical imaging.
Monitor and record vital signs of patients before, during, and after dental procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and work areas.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
Support pediatric dentistry efforts by providing care tailored to younger patients.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with medical records management systems such as Epic is a plus.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is advantageous.
Understanding of prosthodontics and related procedures is beneficial.
Certification in radiology or experience with X-ray technology is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.

Pay: $13.72 - $15.04 per hour
