Dental Assistant - Riverside Dental Associates - Haverhill, MA

We are a small family dental practice that strives very hard to provide a warm, inviting and friendly environment for our patients and believes in creating lasting relationships with them. Our staff is a group of friendly, compassionate professionals who are committed to a common goal of helping patients feel at ease. We are looking for a professional, detail oriented and self motivated part time/ full time dental assistant ( flexible schedule 16-30 hours/week).
Responsibilities

Welcome customers in the dental office
Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma

Additional certification or training is an asset. Open to cross- training and helping with the front desk duties is a plus.
Education:

High school or equivalent

License/Certification:

Registered Dental Assistant
X-Ray Certification
