Description We are excited to welcome a Lead Orthodontic Assistant to our Stamford team! This role provides functional supervision for orthodontic assistants while working as an orthodontic assistant. The ideal candidate will support clinical operations, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and maintain a high standard of patient care. Travel may occasionally be required for training or coverage needs. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and prioritize the workflow of orthodontic assistants. Assist the orthodontist during treatment procedures. Manage escalated patient concerns professionally and effectively. Ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, HIPAA, and Risk Management regulations. Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of clinical areas, equipment, and instruments. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications: 3 + Orthodontic Experience Required. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team. Exceptional interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive interactions tactfully. Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and patient management systems. Knowledge of and ability to comply with HIPAA, CDC, and OSHA guidelines. Education and Certifications: RHS Required ICE Required Certified Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification is preferred.
