Dental Assistant - Inspired Smiles - Henrico, VA

Our innovative and growing dental practice currently has the opportunity to add another driven, hard working member to our team. This is a full time position Monday-Thursday. We are seeking an individual that is motivated, has a strong work ethic and is eager to grow as an individual with our team. Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental & surgical procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Perform digital radiographs- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform dental charting and documentation- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment

Skills:

- Knowledge of dental coding and terminology- Excellent documentation skills- Ability to perform patient assessments and provide appropriate care- Experience working as a Surgical Dental Assistant, a plus- Knowledge of maintaining and organizing dental recordsThis position requires x-ray certification. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
