**Job Summary:**As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in our patients’ oral health care. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist in providing comprehensive dental care. Your expertise and compassionate approach will help ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).- Conduct oral health assessments and screenings.- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.- Stay updated on the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies.
**Qualifications:**
- at least 5 yrs prior experience in dental hygiene- Valid state dental hygienist license.- Associate’s degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program.- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and techniques.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
