Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Canton, MI
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and professional team! If you are passionate and comfortable about working with children of all ages and working with special needs, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Provide preventive dental care to pediatric patients, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Take and develop dental X-rays (digital)
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for young patients
Keep accurate patient records (Dentrix)
Requirements:
Valid State of Michigan Dental Hygienist License
At least one year of experience
Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Ability to educate and engage young patients and their families
