OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong communication skills. 4-day week (M-Th), so every weekend is a long weekend :)
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist in the creation of dental models.
Support endodontic procedures by preparing instruments and materials as needed.
Maintain accurate medical documentation.
Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Manage patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
Take X-rays as directed by the dentist, ensuring proper safety measures are followed.
Provide care for pediatric patients, making their experience as comfortable as possible.
Skills
Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures, demonstrating a solid understanding of dental practices.
Knowledge of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with endodontics and the ability to support related procedures effectively.
Ability to perform four-handed dentistry, enhancing the efficiency of the dental team.
Proficient in using Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
Capable of taking X-rays safely and accurately while adhering to all safety protocols.
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, contributing to a positive experience for younger clients.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
