Associate Dentist - Aloha Dental Associates - Kailua, HI

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. This position involves working in a collaborative environment where you will perform a variety of dental procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care while adhering to all regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform general dentistry procedures, including fillings, crowns, and extractions.
Provide specialized care in areas such as endodontics and pediatric dentistry as needed.
Utilize dental software Dentrix for patient management and medical documentation.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all health regulations.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient workflow in the clinic.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.

Experience

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix .
Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and HIPAA regulations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
