OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong foundation in dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing vital signs checks.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures with precision.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
Assist in the development of treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures when necessary.
Stay updated on dental terminology and advancements in general dentistry practices.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with exposure to general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with medical coding and dental assisting is a plus.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar practice management software is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of infection control standards and practices within a dental environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients and provide compassionate care.

Pay: $43.19 - $45.81 per hour
