Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care in compliance with clinic policies.
Apply knowledge of medical coding when processing patient information.
Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and systems related to patient care.
Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical records management and medical coding is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices is a plus.
