Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic by providing exceptional customer service and managing various administrative tasks. This position requires a understanding of dental office procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mulit-task; while protecting patient information.
****BILINGUAL IS A PLUS*** Prefer experience but willing to train if a candidate has the right attitude.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments efficiently while considering patient needs and clinic availability.
Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, inquiries, and appointment confirmations.
Maintain accurate patient records using computerized systems.
Verify patient insurance coverage.
Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, emailing, and maintaining organized records.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to take direction during training.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Proficient in using phone systems and computer software for scheduling and record management.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient privacy.
Ability to type accurately and efficiently for data entry tasks.
Familiarity with dental terminology, including ICD-10 codes, is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus
Knowledge of Carestack is a plus
Familiarity with Cherry Financing and CareCredit
Hours of operation are M-Th 8-5 and 1 Friday a month 8-1
Paid Holidays, flexible with time off.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
