Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care by performing dental cleanings and assessments.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for young patients.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize aseptic techniques and dental terminology during chairside assisting.
Monitor vital signs and support the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care to promote overall dental health.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license
Proficient in chairside assisting and patient care
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical records
Experience with Eaglesoft and Dentrix software
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and four-handed dentistry techniques
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques
Ability to assess patient needs and vital signs effectively
