Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Manage patient records accurately, including medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Conduct medical imaging as required, ensuring high-quality results for diagnostic purposes.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties as needed, including answering patient inquiries.
Support prosthodontic procedures by preparing materials and assisting with impressions.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Familiarity with Dentrix, Dexis, and CEREC.
Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a dental setting.
Previous experience up to two years.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records.
