Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth operation of the front office. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental calendar effectively.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize dental software (Open Dental) for managing patient information and appointments.
Assist with 10 key typing for billing purposes and ensure accuracy in all documentation.

Skills

Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience required.
Proficiency in dental insurance is preferred.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in managing medical records.
Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Familiarity with dental software systems (OpenDental)
