Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
Take and record vital signs of patients to monitor their health status.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient medical records as needed.
Perform basic dental procedures such as taking impressions, and x-rays
Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Support procedures by preparing materials and assisting the dentist as required.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the cleanliness of the work area.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques, including knowledge of general dentistry practices.
Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
Experience with medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records.
Familiarity with endodontics and the ability to assist in related procedures.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during treatments.
Excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
