OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our dental clinic, providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are readily available.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilizing instruments and adhering to infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Utilize 3D scanners for creating digital impressions when required.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including medical coding and insurance verification.
Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy, endodontics, and aseptic techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
Familiarity with medical coding related to dental procedures is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures, particularly in endodontics, is beneficial.
